Janmashtami Celebration is famous festival celebrated with great devotion in the honor of Lord Krishna. Janmashtami Celebration is one of the most popular festival in Hindu religion. Janmashtami Celebration observed on 21st August 2011 for Smarta Tradition and the Vaishnava Tradition observed on 22nd August 2011. Lord Janmashtami Celebration celebrates on Sri Krishna was born in Rohini Natchathiram (star) In the month of Sravana on the eight day in Ashtami tithi. Bhagwan Krishna was born on a dark, stormy and windy night. Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on two days. First Day celebration is called Krishnashtami. Seconday Celebrations is called Kalashtami. Krishna Janmashtami celebrate at midnight between the first day and second day birth of Lord Krishna. Celebrations starting evening and end with midnight.
In Krishna Janmashtami Celebration with Lord Krishna Idol (Child Krishna) bathed with Panchamirtham with sweets like Vada, seedai, murukku, Rava Lattu, Ven Pongal, Sundal and Ellurundai. After finished Pooja Panchamirtham distributed as Prasadam to the devotees along with other sweets.
