May we never forget who did this and why they did it. They were Islamic radicals who hate everything we stand for. They declared a war on us that can only end in our deaths or submission or their deaths. There is no middle-ground. May we never forget the almost 3,000 people who lost their lives that day or the heroism of those who fought back or placed their lives on the line in a noble attempt to save their fellowman. May we never forget the service of the millions, many who have been killed or maimed, who rallied to the battle call and joined the military effort to fight for our safety, freedom and way of life. They are all heroes and the words to properly thank them escape us.

Footage Of United 93 Aftermath Surfaces (Video)

On Sunday night, CNN anchor Susan Hendricks introduced new footage from the immediate aftermath of United Flight 93, which crashed into a field in rural Pennsylvania on 9/11. The clip was recorded by an unnamed man —apparently now dead — who watched smoke rise from the crash site about 15 miles from the point of impact. In it, the narrator/cameraman calmly describes the scene unfolding in front of him, and says that he is already watching TV coverage of the Pentagon and World Trade Center terrorist attacks.
